The Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, IL) basketball toppled the visiting Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL), 58-50 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Minutemen now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Olympia for a non-league test on Friday, November 28. Lexington will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 71-66 non-league loss to Armstrong (Armstrong, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 1-1.
