Alabama High School Basketball - Russell County thwarts Lanett

November 26, 2025: Lanett, AL 36863

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) and the host Lanett Panthers (Lanett, AL), observed Russell County's basketball team knock off Lanett by a score of 52-37.

The Warriors (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hardaway (Columbus, GA). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Hardaway prevailed over Northside (Columbus, GA), 48-37, in a non-league challenge.

Next up, the Panthers meet the Central Red Devils (Phenix City, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, December 1. Lanett will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record.
