With the victory, Merritt improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Oilers travel to Canute (Canute, OK) to confront the Trojans in a Five County challenge on Friday, December 1. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Canute won 75-56 in their recent non-league challenge against Arnett (Arnett, OK)

Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Thomas-Fay-Custer Terriers (Thomas, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 28. Cordell will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
