Kentucky High School Basketball - Green County can't hold off Taylor County

The Taylor County Cardinals basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Green County Dragons to 67 in the Cardinals non-league victory on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer County for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Taylor County will battle a Titans team coming off a 62-60 non-league win over Somerset (Somerset, KY). The Titans record now stands at 1-0.
The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Adair County (Columbia, KY). The Indians come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Adair County edged Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY), 74-41, in a non-league contest.
