Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield Central can't hold off Lincoln-Way West

The Lincoln-Way West Warriors basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats to 54 in the Warriors non-league victory on Monday.

The Warriors now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais for a SouthWest Suburban - Red contest on Friday, December 1. Lincoln-Way West will battle a Boilermakers team coming off a 63-59 non-league win over Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 4-1.

The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals come into the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Plainfield East was nudged by St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL), 72-71, in a non-league contest.
