Mississippi High School Basketball - Newton County Academy ripped by Park Place Christian Academy

The Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Newton County Academy Generals to 20 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Monday.

The Crusaders now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookhaven Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Park Place Christian Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-30 non-league loss to Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.

The Generals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel Christian (Laurel, MS). The Lions enter the MAIS 3A District 3 contest with a 2-5 record.
