In their next game, the Mustangs face the Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 game, on Friday, December 15. Pearce will attempt to move on its 6-3 season record.

With the defeat, Rowlett moves to 1-5 on the year. The Eagles host Garland (Garland, TX) to face the Owls in a 6A Region II District 9 game on Tuesday, December 5. The Owls enter the game with a record of 2-2. Garland won 43-37 in their recent non-league game against Poteet (Mesquite, TX)
