The Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA), 50-36 in Monday's non-league test.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Southwest Georgia Academy (Damascus, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-1 record. In their last test, Southwest Georgia Academy went down by Marist (Atlanta, GA), 69-20, in a non-league test.
The Purple Hurricane now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Coffee for a non-league test on Saturday, December 2. Fitzgerald will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 61-21 non-league win over Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-0.
