The Greenon Knights basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Oakwood Lumberjacks to 45 in the Knights non-league victory on Monday.
The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greeneview for a Ohio Heritage contest on Wednesday, November 29. Greenon will battle a Rams team coming off a 44-32 non-league win over Northwestern (Springfield, OH). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.
The Lumberjacks (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Carlisle (Carlisle, OH). The Indians come into the Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Carlisle prevailed over Brookville (Brookville, OH), 43-26, in a league contest.
