The Little Village Phoenix basketball team scored 39 points and held the host Hirsch Huskies to 2 in the Phoenix league triumph on Monday.
The Phoenix now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host ACERO Garcia for a Chicago Public - Green Central contest on Wednesday, November 29. Little Village will battle a Patriots team coming off a 46-13 non-league loss to Carver (Chicago, IL). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
The Huskies (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Corliss (Chicago, IL). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Corliss triumphed over Solorio (Chicago, IL), 25-21, in a league contest.
