The Riverton Hawks (Riverton, IL) basketball crushed the host Sangamon Valley/Tri-City Storm (Niantic, IL), 52-18 in Monday's non-league test.
The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their test against Staunton (Staunton, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Staunton walloped East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL), 63-21, in a non-league test.
The Storm now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly for a MSM test on Thursday, November 30. Sangamon Valley/Tri-City will encounter a Vipers squad coming off a 45-17 non-league win over North Greene (White Hall, IL). The Vipers record now stands at 2-5.
