Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the United Golden Eagles (Hanoverton, OH) and the host South Range Raiders (Canfield, OH), saw United's basketball squad hold off South Range by a tally of 29-27.
With the victory, United improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host David Anderson (Lisbon, OH) to confront the Blue Devils in a Eastern Ohio challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 0-1. David Anderson lost 42-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Malvern (Malvern, OH)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. South Range will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
