Fans at Monday's league challenge between the West Ashley Wildcats (Charleston, SC) and the visiting Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC), saw West Ashley's basketball squad hold off Berkeley by a count of 29-26.

With the victory, West Ashley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Goose Creek (Goose Creek, SC) to play the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 29. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Stags play the Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Berkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
