Governor's Academy Governors (Byfield, MA) fans left the game thrilled Monday as they witnessed their ice hockey team hold off the visiting Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT), 4-3 in a non-league match.
The Governors (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Proctor Academy (Andover, NH). The Hornets enter the match with a 0-2 record.
Next up, the Big Red encounter the Salisbury School Crimson Knights (Salisbury, CT) in a Independent match, on Wednesday, November 29. Taft School will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record.
