The South Pointe Stallions basketball team (Rock Hill, SC), was nudged 36-35 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC)
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newberry for a non-league battle on Thursday, November 30.
The Stallions (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC). The Grizzlies come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, High Point Academy edged Greer Middle College (Taylors, SC), 44-16, in a non-league battle.
