McDonough Warhawks (McDonough, GA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Locust Grove Wildcats (Locust Grove, GA), 66-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, McDonough upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Warhawks travel to Woodland (Stockbridge, GA) to play the Wolfpack in a bout on Wednesday, November 29. The Wolfpack come into the bout with a record of 3-3. Woodland won 68-28 in their recent non-league bout against Ola (McDonough, GA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hampton Hornets (Hampton, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. Locust Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Hornets come into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 59-40 league loss to Luella (Luella, GA).
