The Somerset Academy South Homestead Hurricanes basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Pinecrest Glades Academy Dragons to 21 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Monday.
The Hurricanes now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to BridgePrep Village Green for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 29. Somerset Academy South Homestead will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 62-28 non-league win over Westland Hialeah (Hialeah, FL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
The Dragons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sunset (Miami, FL). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Sunset was routed by Homestead (Homestead, FL), 60-22, in a non-league contest.
