In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Red Bay Tigers basketball team scored a big 68-38 triumph over the Appalachian Eagles.

The Tigers (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Colbert County (Leighton, AL). The Indians go into the non-league contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Colbert County was trounced by Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL), 70-64, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Victory Christian Lions (Pell City, AL) in a 1A Area 11 contest, on Tuesday, December 3. Appalachian will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Lions go into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 68-64 non-league loss to Sumiton Christian (Sumiton, AL).
