The Clinton Maroons basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Illini Central Cougars to 38 in the Maroons non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Maroons now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Pulaski for a non-league game on Friday, November 29. Clinton will confront a Hilltoppers team coming off a 63-38 non-league win over Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Illini Central falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Delavan (Delavan, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-2. Delavan lost 84-47 in their recent non-league game against Auburn (Auburn, IL)
