North Carolina High School Basketball - Mallard Creek sneaks past R.J. Reynolds

The Mallard Creek Mavericks (Charlotte, NC) basketball edged the visiting R.J. Reynolds Demons (Winston-Salem, NC), 48-46 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Mavericks now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Providence Day for a non-league outing on Friday, November 29. Mallard Creek will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 90-69 non-league loss to Combine Academy National (Lincolnton, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 4-2.

The Demons (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Northwest Guilford got by Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC), 50-46, in a non-league outing.
