Indiana High School Basketball - Mississinewa toppled by Marion

November 27, 2024: Gas City, IN 46933

Marion Giants (Marion, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Mississinewa Indians (Gas City, IN), 68-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Marion upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The Giants travel to New Castle (New Castle, IN) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Saturday, November 30. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 1-0. New Castle won 74-35 in their recent non-league match against Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN)

The Indians now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington North for a non-league match on Saturday, November 30. Mississinewa will face a Vikings squad coming off a 62-44 non-league win over Northfield (Wabash, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
