The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Sammamish RedHawks (Bellevue, WA) and the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), observed Sammamish's basketball team edge Varsity Opponent by a score of 57-53.

The RedHawks (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
