The Sycamore Spartans basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Sandwich Indians to 44 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Harlem for a non-league game on Friday, November 29. Sycamore will play a Huskies team coming off a 48-43 non-league win over Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Sandwich falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Kaneland (Maple Park, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Knights go into the game with a record of 1-1. Kaneland won 73-38 in their recent non-league game against Woodstock (Woodstock, IL)
