The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Hiland Hawks (Berlin, OH) and the visiting Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH), observed Hiland's basketball team overwhelm Waynedale by a margin of 52-28.

The Hawks (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chippewa (Doylestown, OH). The Chipps come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Chippewa was trounced by Smithville (Smithville, OH), 46-33, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Golden Bears battle the Copley Indians (Copley, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 30. Waynedale will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
