The New Philadelphia Quakers basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Zanesville Blue Devils to 29 in the Quakers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Quakers now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to River View for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3.
With the loss, Zanesville falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Licking Valley (Newark, OH) to confront the Panthers in a game on Saturday, January 11. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-0.
