Cascade Bruins (Everett, WA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Highline Pirates (Burien, WA), 55-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cascade upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bruins host Ferndale (Ferndale, WA) to play the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 1. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Pirates play the Liberty Patriots (Issaquah, WA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Highline will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
