Iowa High School Basketball - Creston ripped by Winterset

The Winterset Huskies basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Creston Panthers to 47 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Monday.

The Huskies now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bondurant-Farrar for a Raccoon River contest on Friday, December 2.

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Nodaway Valley (Greenfield, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Nodaway Valley was routed by Clarinda (Clarinda, IA), 61-54, in a non-league contest.
