Crossett Eagles (Crossett, AR) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Hermitage Hermits (Hermitage, AR), 78-39 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Crossett upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to McGehee (McGehee, AR) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Hermits play the Nevada Blue Jays (Rosston, AR) in a 1A Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Hermitage will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Blue Jays come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 59-55 league win over Bradley (Bradley, AR).
