Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Starmont Stars (Arlington, IA), 65-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oelwein upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Huskies travel to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Stars play the Marquette Mohawks (Bellevue, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Starmont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mohawks go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 55-35 league win over Easton Valley (Preston, IA).
