Chavez Eagles (San Fernando, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lakeview Charter Lions (Sylmar, CA), 30-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chavez upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Eagles host Northridge Academy (Northridge, CA) to play the Pumas in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Pumas go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Northridge Academy won 59-10 in their recent non-league bout against Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA)

Next up, the Lions play the Fulton Jaguars (Van Nuys, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 30. Lakeview Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
