The Coronado Leopards basketball team (Gallina, NM), was overwhelmed 58-31 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Dulce Hawks (Dulce, NM)
The Hawks now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jemez Valley for a non-league battle on Wednesday, November 30. Dulce will confront a Warriors team coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
The Leopards (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Questa (Questa, NM). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Questa was overwhelmed by Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM), 49-27, in a non-league battle.
