Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Diego Rivera Huskies (Los Angeles, CA), 36-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marquez upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Gladiators host Aspire Ollin (Huntington Park, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Aspire Ollin lost 38-30 in their recent non-league bout against Horace Mann UCLA Community (Los Angeles, CA)

Next up, the Huskies play the USC-MAE Trojans (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Diego Rivera will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 29-24 non-league loss to Foshay (Los Angeles, CA).
