The Hancock Eagles basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting DuSable Panthers to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Julian for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 30. Hancock will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 42-24 league win over Catalyst-Maria (Chicago, IL). The Jaguars record now stands at 3-1.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Gage Park (Chicago, IL). The Fighting Owls enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Gage Park Corliss (Chicago, IL), 31-31, in a non-league contest.
