With the victory, Hammond improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tornadoes travel to Varnado (Angie, LA) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 30. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cowboys confront the Amite Warriors (Amite, LA) in a 3A District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Sumner will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
