In Monday's league outing, the New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly Vipers (New Berlin, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), by a count of 51-27.

The Vipers (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Tri-City/Sangamon Valley (Niantic, IL). The Storm go into the MSM outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Tri-City/Sangamon Valley smashed Riverton (Riverton, IL), 40-35, in a non-league outing.

The Crusaders now hold a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Father McGivney Catholic for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 22.
