In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Spring Lions basketball team scored a tight 56-51 triumph over the Magnolia Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Port Arthur Memorial Titans (Port Arthur, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, December 6. Spring will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Titans enter the match with a 5-5 record after their 70-67 non-league loss to Silsbee (Silsbee, TX).
With the defeat, Magnolia moves to 0-6 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Brenham (Brenham, TX) to meet the Cubs in a 5A Region III District 21 match on Friday, December 9. The Cubs enter the match with a record of 3-6.
