Valley Pirates (Sanders, AZ) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Red Mesa Redskins (Teec Nos Pos, AZ), 43-24 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Valley upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season.
Next up, the Redskins play the Pinon Eagles (Pinon, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Red Mesa will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 62-22 non-league loss to Show Low (Show Low, AZ).
