Pajaro Valley Grizzlies (Watsonville, CA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Grizzlies face the Tulare Western Mustangs (Tulare, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Pajaro Valley will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record.

The Mustangs now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Seaside for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 30. Gilroy will face a Spartans team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 1-0.
