Abundant Life Owls (North Little Rock, AR) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Mount Ida Lions (Mount Ida, AR), 57-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Abundant Life upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Owls host Legacy Academy (Lockesburg, AR) to clash with the Warriors in a Heartland Christian bout on Friday, December 1. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Legacy Academy lost 84-66 in their recent league bout against Columbia Christian (Magnolia, AR)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR) in a 1A Region 7 bout, on Friday, December 1. Mount Ida will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 64-59 non-league loss to Harmony Grove (Camden, AR).
