Byron Nelson Bobcat (Trophy Club, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX), 58-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Byron Nelson upgrades its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bobcat travel to Haltom (Haltom City, TX) to play the Buffalos in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Buffalos come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Haltom won 58-49 in their recent non-league bout against Trinity (Euless, TX)

Next up, the Rams play the Grand Prairie Gophers (Grand Prairie, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Berkner will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Gophers come into the bout with a 2-3 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Brewer (Fort Worth, TX).
