North Carolina High School Basketball - Holmes overwhelmed by Bertie

The Holmes Aces basketball team (Edenton, NC), was routed 64-25 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Bertie Falcons (Windsor, NC)

The Falcons now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wayne Country Day for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 2. Bertie will battle a Chargers team coming off a 79-56 non-league loss to Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Chargers record now stands at 2-5.

The Aces (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Gates County (Gatesville, NC). The Red Barons come into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Gates County was routed by Camden County (Camden, NC), 54-39, in a non-league battle.
