The Treynor Cardinals basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders to 23 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Missouri Valley for a Western Iowa contest on Friday, December 1. Treynor will battle a Big Reds team coming off a 61-54 league loss to Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Big Reds record now stands at 1-1.
