Boyd County Lions (Ashland, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lewis County Lions (Vanceburg, KY), 76-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Boyd County upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Madison Southern (Berea, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Madison Southern won 79-56 in their recent non-league bout against Collins (Shelbyville, KY)

Next up, the Lions play the Fairview Eagles (Ashland, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
