In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Cherokee Braves (Cherokee, NC) basketball squad beat the visiting Tuscola Mountaineers (Waynesville, NC), by a margin of 72-63.

The Braves (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Franklin defeated Rabun County (Tiger, GA), 64-57, in a non-league outing.

The Mountaineers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Madison for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 5.
