Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier County edges Cook

The Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) basketball nipped the host Cook Hornets (Adel, GA), 58-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Irwin County was tipped by Berrien (Nashville, GA), 65-39, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Valdosta for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 29. Cook will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 79-32 non-league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
