The Cornerstone Christian Cougars basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Valley Christian Vikings to 36 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Riordan for a non-league contest on Wednesday, November 29. Cornerstone Christian will meet a Crusaders team coming off a 77-72 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.
The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jewish Community (San Francisco, CA). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Jewish Community was routed by Drew (San Francisco, CA), 59-34, in a league contest.
