Virginia High School Basketball - Hickory overwhelmed by Currituck County

November 28, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23322

The Currituck County Knights basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the host Hickory Hawks to 44 in the Knights non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peninsula Catholic for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Currituck County will battle a Knights team coming off a 70-55 non-league loss to Moravian Prep (Hudson, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.

The Hawks (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, First Colonial was routed by Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA), 61-44, in a league contest.
