The East Marshall Mustangs basketball team (Le Grand, IA), was overwhelmed 72-49 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA)
The Wolverines now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wapsie Valley for a North Iowa Cedar - East battle on Friday, December 1. Dike-New Hartford will confront a Warriors team coming off a 49-45 non-league win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 1-0.
The Mustangs (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Columbus (Waterloo, IA). The Sailors come into the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
