East Carter Redbirds (Ellsinore, MO) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Naylor Eagles (Naylor, MO), 51-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Carter upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Redbirds host Clearwater (Piedmont, MO) to play the Fightin' Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Fightin' Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Clearwater lost 60-59 in their recent league bout against Lesterville (Lesterville, MO)

Next up, the Eagles play the Clarkton Reindeer (Clarkton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Naylor will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Reindeer go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 71-38 league win over Southland (Cardwell, MO).
