Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Forreston Cardinals (Forreston, IL), 51-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pearl City upgrades its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Wolves host Annawan (Annawan, IL) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Braves come into the bout with a record of 5-1.

Next up, the Cardinals play the Dakota Indians (Dakota, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Forreston will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 46-36 non-league loss to Eastland (Lanark, IL).
